What are the shipping costs?
Delivery is with An Post. We do our best to keep shipping prices fair by subsidising heavier or more bulky parcels
- Republic of Ireland: €4 for most orders, €6.50 for bulky or heavy items
- Everywhere Else*: €6 for most orders, €10 for bulky or heavy items
*We offer delivery to Northern Ireland, UK and Europe.
The is an automatic discount of FREE DELIVERY to all orders with a value of over €60 within the Republic of Ireland.
We also offer FREE LOCAL PICK UP from our base in Drogheda, Co. Louth or from any trade fairs or markets we attend (keep an eye on social media for details)
What kind of packaging is used?
We believe in re-use and recycling. Smaller items are wrapped in re-used food magazine pages - keep an eye out for some bonus recipes in your parcel! Larger or more delicate items are sent in Mail Lite bubble wrap envelopes, which are designed for easy recycling. Please follow the instructions on the envelope to separate the envelope for correct recycling. We also re-use any suitable packaging we receive. We believe that re-use and a safe delivery of goods is more important than how your parcel looks on the outside - we hope you feel the same!

Is your item a gift or surprise? Add your message to the note section on the checkout page, and we will add a handwritten note with your message.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days. Delivery within Ireland is usually 1-2 working days from time of posting. UK is 3-5 working days. You will receive a notification when your item has been dispatched.
Some items are available on pre-order. We only offer pre-order items when we expect them back in stock within 5 working days. Your order will be dispatched as soon as pre-ordered items are restocked.
What if I need to return an item?
We do our very best to ensure that your items reach you in perfect condition. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to resolve any issues.
If you are in our local area of Drogheda, Co. Louth, please contact us directly at roisin@messchef.ie to arrange return / collection / exchange of an item
Items may be returned within 30 days in exchange for the cost of the item, not including shipping costs. If the product was damaged during delivery, please take photographs and send on to us at roisin@messchef.ie (if this instance, shipping costs will also be refunded). Refunds will be processed when the item is returned in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
