Really Good Lunchbox Recipes
A handful of good lunchbox recipes are great to have at this time of year. There’s nothing like the convenience of having one or two homemade & healthy items ready and waiting to pop into lunch boxes to make mornings easier. Here are some of my favourites...
Vegetarian Sausage Rolls – So tasty and freeze really well!
Cheese & Onion Potato Bread – Everyone I’ve made this for loves it. It freezes well, and it’s handy to slice before freezing so you can take out a slice at a time.
Carrot Cake Oat Bars – I usually make these for our after school snack in the car. I credit them with saving us from many an afternoon meltdown!
Oat & Sunflower Seed Crackers – Gluten free for those who need it. Also a fab recipe for kids to get involved with - reluctant lunch-eaters may be more willing to snack on something they’ve made themselves.
Cheesy Waldorf Salad – Might need to leave out the walnuts depending on your school’s policy, but still totally tasty without.
