Pineapple, Ginger & Lime Smoothie

This is a very refreshing smoothie, with zesty tangy-ness that my children love. In fact, my husband and I love it just as much. The recipe calls for frozen pineapple, meaning we can always have the ingredients to hand.

This is also perfect for making delicious Zipzicles ice pops 
Ingredients (Serves 2)
100ml Apple Juice
100g Frozen Pineapple
Juice of half a lime
1cm slice of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
Method
 
Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and blend really well until creamy and frothy. No need for ice as the frozen pineapple will chill this really well.
Tasks for Children
- Cutting the lime with a Kiddikutter Knife
- Squeezing lime juice
- Measuring ingredients
- Peeling the fresh ginger with the flat side of a Kiddikutter knife
- Cutting the ginger
- Blending (with the help of an adult)
